With all the gargage out there on the internet and the savvy marketers that are real good at sucking people in to less than legitimate businesses, doing your due dilligence should be your #1 priority starting off.  Take a look at who is involved in the business your looking at?  Have the leaders been in the game for a long time?

One way to do this is to google their name and take a look at the age of their content and websites.  Take a look at how many other people are marketing the same program.  If you see a consistant thread there, chances are you have a winner.

Don’t get caught up in details.  Get your marketing system set up, your sales funnel functional and your Aweber autoresponder emails tweaked out.  Just take consistant action on a daily basis and set realistic daily, weekly, monthly goals to propel you ahead.

I see a lot of folks getting “overwhelmed”. This is a good thing.  If your not outside of your comfort zone, your not learning or growing.  Stay the course.  People dont take action for fear of the outcome.  Don’t be results oriented when first getting started in your new business venture.  Be process oriented.  Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither will your business.

Without a mentor or coach, your dead meat.  You want to develop a relationship with someone who has had success in the business your involved in.  Stay as plugged into them as possible.

Continually be plugged into ongoing training.  Your only as good as your skill sets so you have to constantly be honing those skills that are going to propel you forward in business.

Starting a small home based business can be fun, rewarding and very profitable.  Get started, stay steady and dont quit.
